This is an honor for us as Grant Wahl is the leading soccer journalist in the U.S., and has been an active contributor for the last 25 years. Wahl has covered 12 World Cups (7 men's, 5 women's) and written two books: The Beckham Experiment in 2009 (the first soccer book to make the New York Times Bestseller List), and Masters of Modern Soccer in 2018 on the art of soccer position by position. Today, his writings are published on his website, GrantWahl.com.

Wahl works in television for CBS Sports, does documentary films for Meadowlark Media and CBS, and hosts the podcasts Fútbol with Grant Wahl and Landon, Wahl and Witty on the Road to Qatar in partnership with Meadowlark. 

Wahl spent 24 years at Sports Illustrated, where he wrote more than three dozen cover stories (including SI's first on LeBron James in 2002) on some of the most prominent figures in global sports. His 2020 podcast series American Prodigy: Freddy Adu was nominated for a Webby Award. He writes in both English and Spanish.
